Hi, anthropology may be seen as rejected from sociology for it studies not "us" but "others" or as said in the lecture, "primitive people". However, I beg to differ on this point. As mentioned in the textbook, there were references to the evolutionary process of how some behaviors or problem-solving mechanisms of human beings as a species are conserved over time. The study of so-called "others" can actually let us know more about our evolutionary history and the evolutionary background of people like "us". 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
